Suon Cambridge Ltd Appoint Managing Agents to Complete Team for Cambridge Research
19 June 2025 Following the recent pre-let to Diomed, Suon Cambridge Ltd has appointed Phoenix Beard as managing agents for the �100m Cambridge Research Park, a joint venture between Suon Ltd and Carisbrooke Investments Ltd. Phoenix Beard are particularly skilled in property management and currently manage 4.7m sq ft of business space throughout the UK including Abingdon Business Park. The company has also advised on setting up management operations at Aston Science Park and Celtic Lakes, Newport. Chris Edwards, chairman of Phoenix Beard, said, "We are delighted to be acting for Suon at the start of this exciting venture and have the opportunity to bring our experience and expertise to this project that will set new standards in customer care for business space occupiers." Nic Rumsey of Carisbrooke Investments Ltd, comments, "Phoenix Beard's reputation goes before it and as long term investors in Cambridge we wanted a firm with proven business / science park management expertise. We aim to provide companies with a more attractive self-contained environment than the Cambridge Science Park which has limited on-site facilities." The Cambridge Research Park lies on the A10, Ely Road, Cambridge and has recently received detailed planning consent for its' 17-acre first phase. Planning applications are still outstanding for Diomed House and two, two-storey speculative units of 1,801 sq m (19,385 sq ft) and 2,707 sq m (29,145 sq ft).
