SYNAPTICS JOIN HIGH-TECH COMMUNITY AT CAMBRIDGE RESEARCH PARK - 19 July 2025

Synaptics, a leading supplier of touch-pad and other user-interface solutions to the computer and high-tech markets, has signed a 10-year lease with Slough Estates for a 737 sq.m. (7,933 sq.ft.) office and R&D; facility at Cambridge Research Park (CRP).

The company, which is an international organisation headquartered in San Jose, California, with other facilities in Taiwan, is the fourth high-tech company to take premises at CRP - alongside Diomed, NTL Business and Cambridge Animation Systems.

Established in Cambridge since 1988, Synaptics� move to CRP will enable the company to accommodate the dynamic growth of its position-sensing R&D; activities and consolidate its role as the company�s European sales and marketing centre.

The premises let to Synaptics are the first of a new speculative development to be completed at CRP comprising a total of 10,916 sq.m. (117,500 sq.ft.) of modern office and R&D; accommodation. Details are available from FPD Savills, Gerald Eve and Insignia Richard Ellis.

Slough Estates, the owner and developer of CRP, is one of the UK�s largest property development and investment companies with holdings in the UK, Europe and North America. Founded in 1920, it owns, develops and manages industrial and commercial properties comprising 3.2 million sq.m. (34,500,000 sq.ft.) with a value of �3.8 billion which are occupied by over 2,000 businesses.
